She Did What She Could

I found an awesome blog today!
 

Well, actually I found it a while ago, but hadn't had the chance to really give it a good look over. But today, right now, when I should've jumped into the shower, got dressed, woken up my kids and fed them breakfast I read 2 posts. This one in particular has ministered to my spirit.

She Did What She Could

I, too, get so lost and caught up in the "discontent, the guilt, the jealousy, the “you’re not good enough, you don’t do enough”." But today... Today I was reminded that most days I do the very best I can. That because I have turned to the Lord and cried out to Him I am the best wife and mom that I can be. Is there room for improvement? Absolutely. Can I do it alone? Absolutely not. But as I continue to discover who I am in God, I know the best will always be yet to come. There is no maxing out in God.

So here's to TODAY. Not to tomorrow or to the future, just to today.

Now it's time to do all that I mentioned above. Not necessarily in that order. Gotta go start my day! And at some point I'd like to get back to Impress Your Kids and post my "What’s something you don’t do?" I'll be sure to post it here as well. During what I call Mommy Morning I had the opportunity to sit at the computer and browse a few of my Most Loved sites. I stumbled upon this post from The Purposeful Mom.

I was so in love with this idea that I wanted to be sure to share it. It's definitely in line with what I've been working on with my children. I'm really wanting to point their little hearts to Christ. I believe that this is a great activity to add in. Thanks Jenn for sharing.
